Dear Chamber Members and Friends,

First of all, I want to say what an honor and privilege I consider it to serve as Chairman of the Greater Shawnee Chamber of Commerce. Having been born and raised in Shawnee, and our business having been in the Shawnee area for over 100 years, it gives special meaning to me to be able to give back to the community.

            Your Chamber of Commerce is very strong and growing, which is a tribute to past leadership and the Chamber staff. It is my goal to continue with this upward direction. We have all the ingredients to make this year another building block in the foundation. The Chamber has an exceptionally talented and diverse Board of Directors that will lead us in the upward direction. We have member volunteers that are committed to the Chamber and its goals and mission. They contribute thousands of hours of unselfish work on programs for the Chamber and community. With this combination, there is no limit to what the Chamber can accomplish.

            The Shawnee community is growing and expanding. It is an exciting time for Shawnee. The Greater Shawnee Chamber of Commerce will work to contribute to the quality of life issues in our community and the surrounding area.
