The Chamber's friendliest employee is selected by a mystery shopper. The friendliest employee receives a $100 Savings Bond, sponsored by DEMCO Printing; a plaque, sponsored by Shawnee Trophy; and their picture in the Shawnee News-Star.

The mystery shopper looks for the employee who is friendly, helpful, attentive to the customers needs and is exceptional in customer service.

The Friendliest Employee Program began in 1979, sponsored by Bob Townsend, Townsend Motors.Today in memory of Bob Townsend, DEMCO Printing, another strong proponent of excellent customer service, continues to provide funds for thirteen savings bonds.

The list of our friendliest employees grows longer each year. It is an honor both the recipient and the employer are proud to receive.
