The purpose of the Past Chairmen's Council is to utilize the experience, expertise and talent of past Chamber Chairmen of the Board of Directors when viewing today's local, state and federal topics.

The Council identifies issues of importance to the greater Shawnee area and recommends possible solutions to the Board of Directors through the collaborative efforts of the Chamber, city government, civic clubs and community organizations.
