2011 Pig Roast and Trophy Auction

Shawnee Agri-Boosters host this event to raise money that will be used to purchase the exhibitiors' animals at the 2010 PCJLS. One hundred ten (110) of the best exhibitors will be picked by the judge for the premium sale. The Agri-Boosters (a committee of the Greater Shawnee Area Chamber of Commerce) will spend an average of $14,000.00 depending on how much the auction raises. In the past several years the floor has been raised to $525.00. This annual event has an impact on all exhibitors and our community. The total of the premium sale has been over $136,000.

Come out and support our 4-H and FFA in Pottawatomie County. It is a year of hard work and a labor of love for the exhibitors.

The Bar-b-que dinner with all the fixens are served to you with great smiles and gratitude by the 4-H and FFA students. The cost of the tickets are $5.00.
